Knee injury, Ozil Absent Up Three Months
Jakarta – The bad news Arsenal obtained from the German national team. Their midfielder, Mesut Oezil, called a knee injury and it took 10-12 weeks to recover.
Oezil who is preparing for the Euro 2016 qualifiers with the German national team had previously been rumored having problems in his left knee upon arrival in Frankfurt. He did not take to fly to Poland and underwent a scan in Munich.
After examination by the German national team doctor, Wednesday (08/10/2014), it is known that Ozil left knee ligaments suffered a partial tear. In a statement released through the official website of the German national team DFB, called the 25-year-old midfielder had to pull over for 10 to 12 weeks.
The news is a blow for Arsenal. Ozil‘s injury adds to a long list of players who should enter the treatment room. Previously, the Gunners have lost Olivier Giroud, Mathieu Debuchy, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Theo Walcott.
Meanwhile, as a result of this injury, Ozil can not strengthen Germany in Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland nearby (11/10) and Ireland (14/10). He also can not appear for Die Mannschaft in the last two international matches this year against Gibraltar (14/11) and Spain (18/10).
