So MU players, Valdes Say Thank You to Van Gaal
Manchester – Victor Valdes finally officially become a Manchester United player. The first person to get a thank you from him was Louis van Gaal.
Valdes joined after the last few months training with the ‘Red Devils’ Carrington. In addition to practicing, Valdes also given the opportunity to recover his knee ligament injury.
For the occasion, Valdes thanked the United camp. However, first of all he thanked first to Van Gaal.
Van Gaal is not a stranger for Valdes. Dutch manager that’s what gave it its debut when he was playing for Barcelona. From there, good relations both woke up.
When Valdes middle without a club after his contract with Barcelona runs out and the agreement with AS Monaco canceled due to a knee injury, Van Gaal invited to train at the same time recuperating in the United.
“First of all, I would like to thank Louis van Gaal who has allowed me to work with him again with his team,” Valdes said in an interview with MUTV.
“Changes in this situation is very important for me because I experienced injury is very, very heavy. United and the people around him to save and care for me.”
“So, I am very grateful for everything and for a manager who has given me the opportunity to be a United player,” said the 32-year-old goalkeeper.
Valdes contracted for one and a half years by United with an option to extend the contract for another year. Van Gaal said he would be the goalkeeper David De Gea coatings.
“He joins a number two goalkeeper and a great addition to our main team,” said Van Gaal.
Joining Valdes makes the future of two other United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard and Ben Amos, is the question mark. Both reportedly been invited to go if there are clubs interested.
